Unlike much of the technology investments through the 1970s to 1990s that focused on improving process efficiencies, Enterprise 2.0 is about changing corporate cultures. Changing processes require people to change their behaviour; whereas cultural change requires people to change not only how they behave, but also how they think, communicate and interact with each other on a social level. That's a much deeper level of change that requires real personal internalization, and as a result we can expect real adoption at the organizational level to take time.</content><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/8662858581791799812/553564571504577976/comments/default/3206181081538731944'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/8662858581791799812/553564571504577976/comments/default/3206181081538731944'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://www.thecontenteconomy.com/2009/05/about-failing-enterprise-20-initiatives.html?showComment=1241647620000#c3206181081538731944' title=''/><author><name>Rich Gaasenbeek</name><uri>http://www.linkedin.com/in/rgaasenbeek</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image xmlns:gd='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005' rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='16' height='16' src='http://img1.blogblog.com/img/blank.gif'/></author><thr:in-reply-to xmlns:thr='http://purl.org/syndication/thread/1.0' href='http://www.thecontenteconomy.com/2009/05/about-failing-enterprise-20-initiatives.html' ref='tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8662858581791799812.post-553564571504577976' source='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/8662858581791799812/posts/default/553564571504577976' type='text/html'/><gd:extendedProperty xmlns:gd='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005' name='blogger.itemClass' value='pid-1899985219'/></entry></feed>
